The deboned thigh is the cut of choice whilst preparing their famous Murgh Makhani. Marinated in hung yoghurt and cooked to perfection in the Tandoor and finished off with a ladle full of rich and creamy makhani gravy topped with copious amounts of fresh hand churned butter. I felt this was truly a royal experience for my tastebuds, the ambience and staff make the experience even more worthwhile.
Cost: $50 makes this one of the more expensive dishes on our list but the authentic flavours captured by the team and their rich creamy and nutty gravy set this apart from the other dishes making it surely one of the best butter chicken in Singapore.
The dining experience is unique and compared to the other restaurants on our list I find Punjab Grill to be serving the most traditionally authentic North Indian Cuisine in Singapore.

Thevar’s Butter Mushroom: The Chef’s menu is a constantly evolving set of concoctions made to transport you to a world beyond your senses. Thevar has swapped out the chicken in favour of oyster mushrooms that are sauteed and tossed in rich makhani sauce, topped with grated aged paneer (cottage cheese), served with freshly made naan bread.
Other interesting dishes are Hokkaido Scallop with coconut sothi which one of my favourites, the Chettinad Chicken Roti is a creative take on medley of flavours and techniques stretching from India, Mexico and Singapore all adding in their own unique touch to the dish.
Cost:
Costing upwards of $50 dollars this experience is worth every penny as Thevar is listed in the Michelin Singapore Guide with Two stars to its belt. Definitely one of the most expensive dishes on the menu but is definitely worth the visit and experience.
The average cost of a meal for two would be between $175 to $250 depending on the seasonal menu and their accompanying beverages, a seasonal tasting menu is also available.

Tandoori roasted chicken cooked in a sweet tomato gravy made from ripe tomatoes topped off with copious amounts of butter, cream, and cashew nut paste. Truly a delight for the tastebuds.
The Avocado Kebabs and Lamb Chops were extremely delicious are the other two personal favourites and my go to appetisers.
Cost: $46 dollars is a bit pricey affair but one worth the trip and the experience, owing to the Michelin standards and the great care taken to make sure each dish goes beyond their client’s expectations. Tiffin Room’s Butter Chicken:
Corn fed premium chicken thigh is the preferred choice, paired with a piquant and slightly sweet cashew nut tomato emulsion, cooked to perfection with an aromatic blend of whole spices.
Other unique dishes include Aloo Dal Tikki Chaat, crispy potato and lentil patties dressed with yoghourt and mint chutney; Murgh Jaitun Seekh, tandoori-grilled minced chicken with green olives, cheddar cheese, saffron and spices something unique that i’ve never experienced in an Indian restaurant before.
Cost: Their Murgh Makhani costs a pretty sum of $42 which is a bit on the pricey side of our list but the attention to detail and the opulent dining experience make it worthwhile and reserved for those special occasions.
